Just came back from Yunqian's house after spending more than 10 hours outside. Ate at Macdonalds for dinner. We've spend like, 4 hours on the blogshop and all we've edited is the all-about-us-and-how-we-operate part. But once we're done with it, I'll start shouting, "Leh-long, leh-long, 'Howie is sexy' tee for only hundred bucks!" Hahahaha. Anyway, do come to our blogshop once we're done with it! :)
And I saw a red moon toooooooooooooooooo! Oh my fucking god. Its darn gorgeous. Upon reaching home, I immediately do a small research about red moons. And then I start searching images for blue, yellow, green, purple, pink, blue, yellow moon. Senseless, but so fun can?! LOL.
"The same process that brings colorful sunsets – when the Earth’s atmosphere filters out the blue end of the sun’s visible light – causes the moon to appear red or orange when near the horizon. The most breathtaking red moons occur during a total lunar eclipse, when the moon passes through the Earth’s shadow. Again, the scattering of the blue end of the visible light spectrum allows the red end of the spectrum to illuminate the eclipsing moon.
Without the Earth’s atmosphere, the moon would look much different to us during a lunar eclipse. While some sunlight would still reach the moon, it would be much dimmer and it wouldn’t appear red or orange."
Yadayadayada.
